Edwin Padilla (Barranquilla, 1979) is an audio visuals professional from Politécnico Grancolombiano (Bogotá).He has participated in national and regional art galleries as well as in many solo and collective contemporary art exhibitions.Padilla created and directed the art project Rancho Deli, a platform for artistic projects and a cultural network at Salgar’s beaches in Puerto Colombia (Atlántico).In recent years he has curated iconographic collections in publications and museographic exhibitions on the Barranquilla Carnival for El Museo del Caribe and Fundación Carnaval de Barranquilla. Padilla has been a photojournalist for FNPI’s workshops and is currently the co-creator and manager of Sociedad de Apreciación del Caimito. He is also a member of the collective annual performance La Puntica No Más, the largest event at the Barranquilla Carnaval, La Batalla de Flores.
